Kitesurfing travel insurance
We know people don’t get excited about travel insurance – they’re far more excited about their holiday. And if you’re going kite surfing while you’re away, you definitely don’t want to spend too much time thinking about insurance.
Luckily for you, you’ve come to right place. We make getting insurance as quick and simple as possible, so you can get on and plan your kitesurfing holiday.
What is covered with kitesurfing travel insurance?
Our travel insurance policies aren’t only quick and simple, but we also include automatic cover for over 50 sports and activities, including kite surfing, with all of our insurance policies. Additionally, we also cover for a range of benefits, including:
- Holiday cancellation cover
- Belongings and baggage cover
- Medical and hospital expenses cover
- Passport, money and documents cover
- Delayed departure cover
- Accommodation cover
If you want to try kite surfing on your holiday, you’ll be covered by our policies. However, please note that you will not be covered if this is the main purpose of your trip.
Will my kite surfing equipment be insured?
While kite surfing is automatically covered under all our policies, sports equipment can be expensive, so if you’re travelling with yours it’s important that it’s fully insured. All our policies include cover for valuables, including sports equipment, so make sure you choose the right level of cover for your needs. If your kite surfing equipment is particularly expensive, you can even add extended valuables cover to your policy, which covers up to £1,000 per item – see our policy wordings for more details.
If you’re planning on kitesurfing on land rather than water, you need to take out additional cover, as this falls into our adventure sports travel category.
