Kayaking travel insurance
If you’re going away to do a bit of kayaking, you probably won’t want to spend too much time thinking about travel insurance. With InsureandGo, you can get covered in a matter of minutes, so you can spend more time planning your perfect kayaking holiday.
What is covered with kayaking travel insurance?
With an insurance policy from InsureandGo, you’re covered for over 50 sports and activities, including kayaking, as standard (as well as bungee jumping, scuba diving, jet skiing, and so much more).
You’re also covered for a range of other benefits, including:
- Holiday cancellation cover
- Belongings and baggage cover
- Medical and hospital expenses cover
- Passport, money and documents cover
- Delayed departure cover
- Accommodation cover
If you want to try kayaking on your holiday, you’ll be covered by our policies. However, please note that you will not be covered if this is the main purpose of your trip.
Will my kayaking equipment be insured?
While kayaking is automatically covered under all our policies, sports equipment can be expensive, so if you’re travelling with yours it’s important that it’s fully insured. All our policies include cover for valuables, including sports equipment, so make sure you choose the right level of cover for your needs. If your kayaking equipment is particularly expensive, you can even add extended valuables cover to your policy, which covers up to £1,000 per item – see our policy wordings for more details.
What isn’t covered with kayaking travel insurance?
If you’re particularly adventurous and fancy taking to the open waters and kayaking in the ocean, then we offer additional adventure sports travel insurance at a small premium which covers sea kayaking, shark cage diving, and more than 50 other extreme sports or activities.
